00:43 | King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun has transferred the ashes of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej from the Temple of the Emerald Buddha to two royal monasteries for enshrinement. Newsline takes a look at the ceremony.

03:41 | Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha has thanked all parties involved in the royal funeral ceremony. The Sanam Luang ceremony ground will be opened to the public from November 2 to 30.

05:27 | Thais across Thailand have taken part in tribute activities in remembrance of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Each province nationwide has organised their own merit making ceremonies as part of the tribute activities.

Additionally, he also encouraged relevant agencies to assist local farmers in their endeavors, particularly on cost reduction, productivity, and adding-value to their crops.

15:41 | The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Centre (DPMC) of the Royal Thai Army (RTA) has sent 31 companies to assist flood-affected people in 22 provinces in the central, northern, and northeastern regions. Meanwhile the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has defended its water management throughout the raining season and says the government has a plan to rehabilitate inundated areas.

16:53 | Chayapol Thitisak, director-general of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM), has reported that 17 provinces remain flooded. Pumping machines and thrusters have been installed to push water back into main waterways. People who need emergency assistance can call the department’s hotline on 1784 twenty-four hours a day.

17:58 | Fourth Army Commander, Lieutenant General Piyawat Nakwanich, recently held a meeting of related agencies in Southern Thailand to discuss plans for the southern rainy season, particularly preparedness for assisting people affected by flood.
