Or so they say.

Oudomxay to add waterfall to tourist attraction list
The waterfall is located at Katangya village and is known locally as Nam Haeng about 24 km from the urban centre of Houn. The verdant area has lots of natural plants and wildlife species and visitors can swim in a clean natural pool.

The agreement for the project was signed on July 23, 2018 by the Vice Minister of Finance Thipphakone Chanthavongsa, and the World Bank Country Manager Nicola Pontara.

Illegal drug trade, traffic rule violations top court cases
The court has ruled in 1,033 cases during the first half of the year, or 54.3 percent of the total cases submitted to the court, including those from last year. There were also numerous cases regarding disputes over loans, borrowing agreements, inheritance and land disputes as well as disputes related to relationships among couples, according to the official.
