      Hello Kevin,

Thank you for reading. We appreciate your anguish. Commercial flights to Thailand are realistically not likely until very late this year or next year. Inbound passenger numbers are limited by testing capacity and quarantine capacity, while outbound flights are subject to Australia’s restrictions, which largely make flights uneconomical unless expensive fares are charged. It is unlikely given the new community transmission in Vietnam that Thailand will ease the entry requirements any time soon, while their priority currently is returning Thai citizens stranded overseas.

We’re sorry we don’t have better news. This is based on what we have been hearing from our Thailand government contacts.
